On your way into the town you'll cross on old roman bridge and a steep path will take you to the center. You should visit Saint Anton's church at the cemetery which was built in 15th century and the parish church of the Blessed Virgin Mary's Birth. There are also ruins of the old church that date from 9th or 10th century. If you run into the vicar he'll probably show you the local museum. In the end you can rest and enjoy the food in one of the local taverns. For those who are hungry for an adventure we suggest a walk down steep path to the sea where you'll find a small camp in a bay. The bay was used for docking Cargo ships that were supplying Cres with products form the land. One of the Beli's inhabitants is the famous Croatian poet. His name is  Andro Vid Mihičić. He writes mostly about his native region. There is Tramontana nearby, the most wooded part of the island and the International Researching Center for protection of the natural and cultural-historic heritage (Eko - center "Caput Insulae" - Beli).
