susak2.gif (49543 bytes)The island has a very interesting national costume. Girls wear thickly laid and very short skirts lovely colored. Married women wear the same kinds of dress but the second is much darker. Wedding costumes, douses and dances and songs are very unusual and beautiful. The island is a favorite place visited by many people during summer season. You'll see the ruins of roman villas. Shallow shore is filled with sand which is called "salbun". It's a real paradise for those who can't swim.
